Description
The Cisco ASR920-S-I is the Metro IP Access License for Cisco ASR 920 Series Aggregation Services Routers, enabling advanced Layer 3 capabilities including IP routing protocols such as RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, IS-IS, Protocol-Independent Multicast (PIM) in sparse mode (SM), dense mode (DM), source-specific multicast (SSM) with SSM mapping, Bidirectional Forwarding Detection (BFD), Multi-VRF CE (VRF lite) with service awareness (ARP, ping, SNMP, syslog, trace-route, FTP, TFTP), and IEEE 1588-2008 Ordinary Clock and Transparent Clock. This license builds on the Metro Access License, adding essential Metro IP Access features for service providers.
