FLASR1-BB-32K

Description

The Cisco FLASR1-BB-32K is a Broadband 32K Sessions Feature License designed specifically for the Cisco ASR 1000 Series Aggregation Services Routers. This perpetual Right-To-Use (RTU) license unlocks advanced broadband capabilities, enabling service providers to deliver high-scale L2TP Access Concentrator (LAC) or L2TP Network Server (LNS) services for triple-play deployments including data, voice, and video.

Key Capabilities and Applications

• Supports up to 32,000 broadband sessions, scalable to 64K total users and channels for PPPoX or IP sessions over STM-1 ATM, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, and 10 Gigabit Ethernet.
• Ideal for service provider edge: L3VPN Provider Edge, high-end route reflector with 40 Gbps bandwidth support, and next-generation voice/multimedia via Cisco Unified Border Element (SP edition).
• Provides complete service integration: per-user firewall, Session Border Controller (SBC), QoS, encryption, Flexible Packet Matching (FPM), Network-Based Application Recognition (NBAR), and IP multicast.
• Embedded in Cisco QuantumFlow Processor for 2.5 to 100 Gbps performance without additional hardware modules.

Cisco ASR 1000 Series routers, powered by the innovative Cisco QuantumFlow Processor, deliver 10x performance improvement over previous midrange solutions, with hardware/software redundancy and In-Service Software Upgrade (ISSU) support. Control and data planes are separated for enhanced availability.

Software and Licensing Integration

The FLASR1-BB-32K license integrates seamlessly with Cisco IOS XE software, available in modular packages: IP Base, Advanced IP Services, Advanced Enterprise Services (with/without encryption). For ASR1001 and ASR1002-X, use universal images like SASR1001UK9 combined with tech packs (SLASR1-IPB, SLASR1-AIS, SLASR1-AES). Licenses are honor-based or activated via PAK (paper or electronic delivery).

Broadband features support massive scalability: up to 64,000 users/channels, thousands of sites, 8,000 IPsec tunnels, 4M IPv4/IPv6 routes, 2900万 IPv4 routes in route reflector mode, 64K Layer 3 adjacencies.

Chassis options include ASR1001 (1RU, integrated RP/ESP/SIP), ASR1002 Fixed/1002/1002-X (2RU), up to ASR1013 (13RU) with 24 SPA slots. All support front-to-back airflow, redundant power (AC/DC), 19-inch rack mounting.

Performance and Scalability
