Description

The Cisco FLASR1-BB-RTU is the Broadband Right-To-Use (RTU) Feature License for the Cisco ASR 1000 Series Aggregation Services Routers. This perpetual license activates essential broadband aggregation capabilities, enabling service providers to deliver high-performance, scalable broadband services including L2TP Access Concentrator (LAC), L2TP Network Server (LNS), PPPoE/PPPoX, and IP session termination for triple-play (data, voice, video) deployments.

• Optimized for asymmetric DSL (ADSL), T1/E1, STM-1/4, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, and 10 Gigabit Ethernet bandwidth requirements.

ASR 1000 Series Platform Overview

Cisco ASR 1000 Series routers, powered by the innovative Cisco QuantumFlow Processor, deliver service performance from 2.5 Gbps to 100 Gbps. The architecture separates control and data planes for software redundancy (ASR1001, ASR1002 Fixed, ASR1002, ASR1002-X, ASR1004) and hardware redundancy (ASR1006, ASR1013). Software and Services Integration

Cisco IOS XE Software (modular OS based on IOS 12.2SR/15S) supports IP Base, Advanced IP Services, Advanced Enterprise Services (with/without encryption). Dual IOS instances for software redundancy. QuantumFlow Processor embeds services: encryption, firewall, QoS, NBAR, FPM, broadband aggregation, CUBE (SP).

Performance upgrades via software activation: ASR1001 (2.5-5 Gbps), ASR1002-X (5-10/20/36 Gbps). Supports SPA interfaces for serial, Ethernet, PoS, ATM, CEoP.
