Description

The Cisco M-ASR1K-RP3-16GB is a high-performance 16GB DRAM memory upgrade (configured as 2x8GB) for the Cisco ASR 1000 Series Route Processor 3 (RP3). Designed for carrier-grade IP and MPLS networks, it delivers advanced routing services, component monitoring, and management in modular chassis such as ASR 1006-X, ASR 1009-X, and ASR 1013. This upgrade enhances memory scalability to support growing routing tables, MPLS VPN instances, and features like Session Border Controller (SBC) and broadband aggregation.
