Description

The Cisco PWR-1.6KW-AC is a high-efficiency 1.6kW AC Power Supply module designed for the ASR 9900 Fixed Chassis, including the compact ASR 9902 Router. This power supply ensures reliable operation in demanding network environments such as business PE, metro aggregation, cloud edge, internet peering, Data Center Interconnect (DCI), BNG, internet edge, WAN Core, WAN Edge, WAN Aggregation, and mobile edge for 4G/5G networks.

• Part of the Cisco ASR 9902 2RU router, supporting up to 800 Gbps nonblocking full-duplex capacity.
• Fully redundant configuration: up to 2 power supply modules with 1+1 redundancy (mixing AC and DC not supported).

It uses Cisco IOS XR 64-bit OS for modular, scalable, carrier-grade operations. Route Processor features 64-bit Intel CPU, 32GB DDR4 SDRAM, management Ethernet, console/aux ports, USB, GPS (10MHz/1PPS/ToD), 2 BITS interfaces.
