Product Overview

The Juniper QFX5700E-BASE-DC is a high-density, cost-optimized, 5U 8-slot fabric-less modular switch ideal for spine-and-leaf deployments in enterprise, service provider, cloud provider data centers, and campus distribution/core. It supports 400GbE, 100GbE, 50GbE, 40GbE, 25GbE, and 10GbE interfaces with 25.6 Tbps bidirectional capacity, advanced L2/L3, EVPN-VXLAN, RoCEv2, and Junos OS Evolved for cloud-scale performance.

Architecture & Performance

Powered by Broadcom Trident4 switch chip and Intel Hewitt Lake CPU (32GB DDRAM), the QFX5700E-BASE-DC delivers 5.3 Bpps forwarding, 132MB shared buffer, latency as low as 900 ns, up to 732K IPv4/428K IPv6 routes, 96K MAC addresses, and 80K firewall filters. Supports high-density configs: 32x400GbE (QFX5K-FPC-4CD), 128x100G/40G (QFX5K-FPC-16C), 144x50G/25G/10G (QFX5K-FPC-20Y). N+N power redundancy (3000W DC PSUs), N+1 fan redundancy, front-to-back airflow.
