Description

The Cisco S-A9K-EVPN-RTU-10 is the ASR 9000 E-VPN 10Gbps Right to Use License, enabling advanced Ethernet VPN (E-VPN) capabilities on Cisco ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Routers, including the compact Cisco ASR 9901 Router. This license unlocks high-scale Layer 2 and Layer 3 services, supporting large-scale aggregation, Data Center Interconnect (DCI), and Satellite Network Virtualization (nV) in System mode.

Product Overview

Part of the Cisco ASR 9000 Series, the ASR 9901 Router delivers 456 Gbps of nonblocking, full-duplex fabric capacity in a 2RU form factor. Powered by the Cisco IOS XR 64-bit operating system, it provides the same features and services as other ASR 9000 platforms. The router features an Integrated Route Switch Processor (RSP) and 42 integrated ports supporting combinations of 1/10/100GE speeds, GPS input for stratum-1 clocking, Building Integrated Timing Supply (BITS) ports, and management ports.

Cisco ASR 9000 Series routers deliver exceptional scale, service flexibility, and high availability for Carrier Ethernet transport networks. The ASR 9901 sets standards for Layer 2 and Layer 3 10GE/1GE service density, supporting MAC-SEC encryption on all port speeds.
