Description

The Cisco S-A9K-L2P-100G-X is the ASR 9000 Premium 100Gbps IP/MPLS/L2VPN Foundation License-X, designed to unlock advanced carrier-class capabilities on Cisco ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Routers equipped with Route Switch Processor 880 (RSP880). This license enables high-density 100 Gigabit Ethernet line cards, Layer 2 VPN (L2VPN), Layer 3 VPN (L3VPN), MPLS, IP over DWDM, SyncE, Ethernet OAM, MPLS OAM, ACLs, H-QoS, MPLS TE-FRR, MC-LAG, IRB, NSF/NSR, P2MP-TE, Lawful Intercept, Smart Call Home, and Multigigabit Service Control. System Architecture and Scalability

The license optimizes the Cisco ASR 9000 RSP 880 system architecture for programmable deployment models. The RSP880 is the system processor for ASR 9010, ASR 9006, ASR 9904 Routers, with RSP880-LT also supporting ASR 9910 and ASR 9906. It provides backward compatibility with second-generation line cards and supports service-edge-optimized (higher memory) and packet-transport-optimized models. Mix line cards for flexibility. Fabric capacity reaches 880 GB non-redundant or 440 GB redundant on supported chassis, with 230 Gbps per RSP on ASR 9910/9906.
