Description

The Cisco S-A9K-VIRTRTU-100 is a 10-pack bundle of Right-To-Use (RTU) licenses for 10Gbps Virtual Interfaces on the Cisco ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Routers. This license unlocks advanced virtual interface capabilities, enabling high-scale multiservice edge (MSE) and Ethernet MSE (E-MSE) deployments, including convergence of Ethernet and TDM interfaces for IP Radio Access Networks (IP RANs), mobile backhaul, and business VPN services with strong SLA enforcement.

The license complements the Cisco ASR 9000 Series SPA Interface Processor 700 (A9K-SIP-700), extending unprecedented Layer 2 and Layer 3 scalability, carrier-class reliability, and flexibility. Designed for service providers and enterprises, it supports massive parallel processing via the Cisco Flow Processor, hierarchical QoS, multidimensional scalability, rich Layer 3 services, dense serial channelization from DS0 to OC48, and POS up to OC192/STM64. The I-Flex design allows interchangeable shared port adapters (SPAs) across Cisco platforms for optimized slot economics and service intelligence.
