Description

The Cisco SFP-OC12-MM is an industry-standard Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) Interface Converter designed specifically for Packet-Over-SONET/SDH (POS), optical networking, and ATM applications. This hot-swappable optical interface plugs into a variety of SFP ports on Cisco router interfaces, delivering reliable OC-12/STM-4 performance at 622 Mbps over multimode fiber up to 0.5 km.

• Supports OC-3/STM-1 (155 Mbps), OC-12/STM-4 (622 Mbps), and OC-48/STM-16 (2.488 Gbps) data rates across multimode, short-reach, intermediate-reach, and long-reach variants.

Digital Diagnostic Functions
