The Cisco SFP-OC48-SR is an industry-standard Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) Interface Converter designed specifically for Packet-Over-SONET/SDH (POS), optical networking, and ATM applications. This hot-swappable optical interface plugs into a variety of SFP ports on Cisco router interfaces, providing reliable OC-48/STM-16 performance at short reach distances.
